So Yerty was at class last night, he was supposed to get out at nine. I'm at home and about 8:30 the sky just gets black with clouds. I'm thinking, "Crap...it's going to start raining, maybe it will be done by the time Yerty gets out of class, he can't ride his bike home in a thunderstorm." So I wait a few minutes and it starts thundering and lightening. So I start to panic, I quick get in my car to go pick up Yerty. I get to the school about 8:55 and try to call Yerty to tell him I'm waiting. He doesn't pick up probably 'cause he's in class. By this point it's pouring rain, lightening is lighting up the whole sky, the thunder is roaring. So about 9:05 I call Yerty and he answers and says he is at home. What!!! I guess he got out of class early, decided to ride his bike home quick before it started raining but didn't quite make it. Anyway...he made it home alive but a little wet. I knew he was going to be a dumb butt and try to ride home in the middle of the storm but I guess I just didn't leave early enough to save him. Oh well.
